ASELSAN has the widest installed Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system network in Turkey encompassing all highways and state roads all around the country and processing more than 2 million vehicles per day. ASELSAN’s ANPRS systems not only automatically recognizes the vehicles’ number plate with superior performance but also identifies the vehicles’ make, model and the color. Identification results are compared to central registration records in real time, suspicious data are identified automatically through big data techniques. The system facilitates tracking of suspicious and black-listed vehicles country wide.
