About Member
Bandırma Seventeen September University, one of the youngest and dynamic universities of Turkey, was established with the Law No. 6640 published in the Official Gazette No. 29335 dated 23 April 2015 with the mission of "Bridge to the Future".
Our university has started the academic life with the educational institutions that have been taken over from Balikesir University, which has a long history of 24 years.On 08 September 2015 Our Rector Dr. Süleyman Özdemir began to take steps towards rapid development with the beginning of the relative.
We are continuing education and research activities with 4 institutes, 7 faculties, 1 college and 5 vocational colleges in 6 settlements in total.
As of the academic year of 2017-2018, there are 11.000 students in our university, including associate, bachelor, master and doctoral level students.
